Sanding and making good rimu floor boards

1971 Keith Hay House has rimu floor boards. I pulled up the carpet and found it has been sanded and polished in some rooms but not all. In the lounge there is a long gouge and also a couple of shallow round holes in two rooms. I’d like to know if it is possible to repair the imperfections and sand and polish as they would look beautiful if it’s possible. It would need to be done within the next 6 weeks and will be three bedrooms and the hallway, total house Size is 90 square meter. I will put vinyl through the kitchen, laundry, bathroom and toilet.
