chipboard flooring remove and replacement

Carpet covered chipboard flooring in conservatory got wet and has swollen and softened. I would like suggestions for appropriate repair and repair job done. We could - Remove carpet and old flooring and replace with wood or some other flooring option - Partially replace (damaged area only) with the same kind of flooring and cover with old carpet again (or new covering ) Whole area is approx 2mx4m ( am happy to measure if need be) Damaged area is small area by both sliding doors Easy outdoor access (only one step up the the conservatory) would love to support local
