Repair a number of smallish holes/gaps in rimu floor

The old heating system in my house had floor vents in each room which are no longer required. I am about to lay new carpet and would like the vents filling in. I may have some old rimu floor boards that can be used but otherwise the gaps can be filled with another suitable flooring product. I am looking for someone who knows what he or she is doing and has done this kind of job before.
