Redo kitchen floor

The room size is roughly 14 sqm. Ideally we would like to sand, stain and varnish the kitchen floor. We could do without the staining. We initially though to give it a try ourselves, but eventually we decided it wasn't a good idea. The floor had vynil on top, which we have removed. However, there is still a bit of glue on it. We have the stain and the varnish (both Cabot) and we wouldn't mind use them as they should provide the floor colour we had in mind.
