Sand and polish hardwood flooring

We have hardwood flooring under carpet and lino that has never been exposed, we want to sand, repair some squeaks, and polish this flooring throughout our house (approximately 80sqm of flooring). We don't want the flooring to be stained, we want to keep it as natural as possible. Unknown type of wood but the house was built in 1961 so assume native timber. Building reports indicate no borer visible. Underfloor insulation is intended to be installed soon, but likely after the flooring is polished. Attached is one image of the flooring underneath the carpet. We intend to remove carpet and nail boards ourselves. We intend to move furniture into this property on 10 February so we want this job completed by then if possible.
