Bouncy Floorboards and Stuck Door

Have taken up carpet in flat and have carpet layers scheduled for thursday 12th Nov. 1.Help! Problem with floor. In the middle of the lounge the floor boards stop at a cement line ( where it looks like a wall was removed long ago) and they are bouncy and obviously in need of underfloor support. 2.Also need to remove and later rehang an old timber door hung on gate type hinges that have been painted over, so that vinyl can be laid in the bathroom.
