Rip up carpet and sand and refinish hardwood floors

Hi We are looking to get our lounge/kitchen/dining area refinished to the original wood floors. So need to rip up the carpet and lino and get the original floors redone. The area is approximately: 6900mm x 5500mm There is an area we suspect is a concrete block that may need to jack hammered down and replaced with some floorboards so not sure how difficult that will be. Thanks
