Laundry floor needs replacing, about 2m2. Particle board is water damaged. Lino on top has asbestos in the backing (1973 house). No point in removing the lino if the floor's coming up, so I guess you'd just skilsaw round the edge. But there will be a tiny bit of asbestos in the sawdust, so a respirator may be required. Don't have much idea of cost. Don't know if the law allows a tradesman to do the job, or whether it would require the asbestos specialists (in which case it would be too costly, so we'd have to get creative and put something like a false floor of treated ply on top). Any ideas ??????
