abandoned the job after I stupidly paid the full amount before completion. Said he would complete in a day, he got 80% there and has not returned to finish. This has left me with a massive problem, I am opening a new restaurant and because the flooring has been delayed the opening day has had to be moved out a week, costing me $$$. Nice guy, but do not pay him a cent until the entire job is complete

"Job was never abandoned. 3 layers before me never showed. I answered the post, and didn't realize the job had to be completed the next day. But i changed my schedule and said it was going to be hard in one day. I worked late, and returned 24 hrs later to finish. There was still other trades working when i finished and never asked for full payment to be made prior. Plus the vinyl he supplied didnt show till after 12pm when was meant to be there first thing in the morning."
