Complete electric gate installation

We had an electric gate installed but have a gap both sides of gate that needs to be remedied. I have seen other gates with pillars either side which I like the look of, but this is price dependent. Not sure what other options there are. Also need letter box factored in too. The photos show the fence not completed on the right, but it has had slats put there.
