Repair and Paint Picket Fence

Replace 4 rotting or missing palings from the fence on the left side of gate as you look at the house from the road. Remove the palings and rails between the post on the right of the gate and the brick pillar, put aside what is reusable and take the rest to the landfill. Remove the broken post to the left of the cabbage tree and concrete a new post into place as close as possible to the old. Reinstall the rails and palings previously put aside and supply new timber as necessary. Water blast the painted timber on the fence and gate, scraping off any loose paint. Undercoat all of the bare timber then give 2 coats of Resene Lumbersider White to all of the timber that will be visible.
