Build 1 small gate fix another

We are trying to kiddie-proof our section. Husband got halfway through building his own gate and got stuck at the point of installing the post with the latch, which requires concreting into the ground. See photo. We're hoping someone can finish off the job. Given, our hard he found it to get this far (poor love) we're hoping you could also build a second gate of a similar style to go at the top of our stairs. Photos can be supplied, so prob no need to visit for a quote. Looking for a cheap quote, and in a perfect world would love to establish a relationship with someone who could help us with jobs like this in future.
