Job description

General Fencing
Waitakere

Hi, I would like to get my garden fenced as I would like to get a dog. One side of the garden has an existing picket fence of 1.25m which will need to be raised to 1.8m (about 8m long) and the unfenced length is around 27m. I have done a very rough map below of what I want. In summary: • The black bit of fence is high enough currently. • The red bits are where I want gates (one at the corner of the garden and one under the archway). • The yellow bit is where there is no fence at all. • The blue bit is where there is an existing 1.25m fence which will need to be made higher. My current thinking to keep prices down is to extend the existing 1.2m fence through the yellow bit and then put that green wire fencing from 1.2m to 1.8m. The fence will need to be about about a foot in from the driveway as the neighbours have run their waterpipes under that section and I think it belongs to the council anyway. I estimated the probable length of new fence would be about 27m. On the existing fenceline which needs to be raised this will just require the green wire fencing. Wood is really expensive which is why I am looking at this option but open to all ideas you have! All ideas welcome. And if I can have a quote for 1.5m and one for 1.8m that would be great. I am just after quotes and ideas at this stage. You are welcome to come out and have a wander round. I am looking at a sturdy but low cost option. I am aiming for a labrador or similar dog so not generally a jumper. I am hoping to get this completed by end of November so not time sensitive. Thanks Deborah
