Gate post needs fixing

Hi there, We’ve just discovered that one of the wooden posts our gate hinges onto has split at the top. We will need the post to be either repaired or replaced. The post itself is around 170cm x 10cm x 10cm. We have some spare wood that could be cut and used (as shown in the second picture). It looks like we might need a new hinge too. We can send more photos tomorrow during the daytime if needs be.

David’s communication was super quick. He came over on time and did the job on the same day. He was really friendly and easy to work with. The job itself looks great, better than what we had expected. A new post was up in an hour. I’d highly recommend getting in touch with David if you need help with fencing or woodwork.
