Driveway gate alteration

We have a 3.5m wide gate built with roofing metal which as it is too heavy to open because it drags on the ground we would like it made into 2 gates if possible. It has metal framing in 3 panels so we envisage 1 panel being a smaller gate and 2 panels a larger gate.
