Mesh fence between house and paddock

We are looking at putting a mesh fence between a house/section and paddock that may have cows in. Want to keep dogs/kids in on one side and cows in on other side. Our challenge is that there is sand and fill along a strip - so looking to plant that, and put the mesh fence into the paddock where there is more solid ground. Its a bit undulating though. Approx 20m long.
