Job description

Manual Gates
Rodney

We have an existing heavy metal gate that used to slide accross the driveway. The track attached to the concrete drive has been damaged and needs to be replaced. We have the new track. The wheels on the gate have deteriorated and need replacing. The previous ones were welded on so will require replacement with good easy roll wheels and probably require welding to the metal gate. There used to be a brick post at the closed end of the gate (left side of the pics) this has been removed and a timber post will be needed to be attached to an existing fence for the closed end of the gate.

Really happy with how the gate turned out, thanks Louis. Ended up having to chase Louis over a number of weeks to get some progress updates. Yes he tells me the lockdown got in the way but we were in level three for over a month where work could be carried out. But in the end we got a great result and we are really happy. Louis started with a rusty gate and rebuilt it, laid a new track and installed a post and now we have an easy to roll gate that opens and shuts as it should.

"It was a good job. Replace frame and track with wheels. John will repaint the gate after installed Nice working with John. Yes it did take longer than expected but I would rather sacrifice time for quality. Thanks John"
