Build new paling fence in Whangaparaoa

The work consists of a new fence to be built and an old fence to repair. A new survey has been conducted and survey pegs put in the ground. The west edge (18.5 m long) of our property is not fenced, and the north section requires an additional section (1.5 m long) to connect it to the existing one. The south edge fence is old and require a few repairs, 3 or 4 rails to replace the missing ones. The West edge of the property is delineated by bushes and trees. The property line has been marked with a red cord and pegs for easy identification. Some bushes will probably need to be removed, and some tree branches cut. This plant clearing work need not be included. The fence will be built after serving a fencing notice to the neighbour. A waiting period of 21 days is required after the notice has been served. We anticipate to serve the notice by 31 July, hence the work can start no sooner than 21 August. The fence will be similar to the existing fence in style and height. It is a paling fence with palings (1.8 m high), posts (10x10 cm cross section) and rails (3 along the height).
