Gudgeon replacement on driveway gate

Gudgeon needs replacing on full driveway width gate. Has rusted out and broken off at the post. End in the post is loose so can be pulled out but the end stuck in the gate is firmly stuck . It was opening fine 1-2 months ago so not rusted in there but I'm just not able to budge the remaining piece. Needs to have both the gudgeons removed and replaced with bolt through the existing post.
