Build front fence

We need a front fence, 1.5m high x 14m (with a 3m gap close to one side). We are flexible on the design but our thinking is leaning towards a wooden fence, fairly simple visually, probably vertical slats/panels. I would like to talk through the exact design. It's primarily to keep children within the property but we would like it to suit the 1970s house. Because there would be a gate there need to be two 150mm H5 timber poles for the gate to hinge off. There are also utilities to avoid with the poles and I would like to make sure it is solid to ensure it does not lean over time. The land is on a very slight slope which means probably there needs to be stepping - I included a picture of the front with a level board on the lower right.
