Remove gaps at the bottom of steel fence

We have steel fence and need to put 150x50 retaining timber at the bottom to remove the gaps and for our plan to put pebbles in. I already bought the H4 timbers. The post have got a channel. Can you help me put the timber in? Let me know, thanks.
