aluminum gate fence

Needing a solid gate built - thinking aluminum but maybe timber (much heaver) approx 3.30m L by 1.30m H (would need a site visit for final measurements) Will need a latch drilled into side of house and potentially a post to hinge onto. Open to suggestions or feedback. We don't have a massive budget. We will paint ourselves if timber. If it helps, we can get supplies and have at house ready for build. Or pick up from site. (its been a tough year but need our property fully fenced) :-)
