New gate plus opener suitable for wheelchair access

Hello! My old automatic gates were torn down in an accident, but the motor(s) are still here, one is connected and the other not. I need to put in a new wooden gate but I would like to try to repurpose the old openers if possible. The opener needs to be suitable for use by someone in a wheelchair (e.g. with a remote) as well as day to day use. There is a farm gate there at the moment but its not very pretty! I would like assistance from someone who is good at lateral thinking so the job ends up looking a billion percent better than it does now, and works!!! Thank you
