Fences fixed and gates added - getting a dog

Hi there - I'd like my backyard secured so that I can get a dog. The fencing down one side of the property is dodgy/non existent, and there are no gates on either side of the house to enclose the backyard. For the fencing I think just a patch up job of the existing chain link is fine. For the gates, one is for the driveway (3m?), the other is for a narrow walkway (<2m). Access is not a problem. The dog will be pretty athletic, so the gates might need some height. I'm not fixed on which materials to use, but the driveway gate will need to be easy to use. Thank you!
