Safety fence

We have a terraced back yard, with a 1.4m drop from the middle terrace down to the level of the house. Currently there is nothing to stop anyone falling off the edge. The approximate length that needs to be fenced is 13.2 metres. Unfortunately our kitchen window looks right out at, and is level with, where the fencing is required, so we were hoping to get some sort of fencing that allows you to see through the bars, and blocks the light and view as little as possible. The final photo is the current view from the kitchen window.
