Earthquake - Drainage work

Peter Diver plumbing guys told us that the sewer from the house to the road is more or less completely destroyed and filled with sand. So it will need to be relaid. However they failed to get back in touch with us and we're getting tired of tipping the washing up water into the back garden. They also mentioned that the fence will have to be taken out in order to complete the work, so it might be quite a big job. I presume that re-instating the fence would also be covered by the EQC guys, but it's pretty hard getting answers out of them.
