new fence

Hi, We have an approx 17m fencing job that we require a quote for. The address is 2a Days Road in Lyttelton and it is for the new fence to be built between 2a Days Road and the property at 11 Brenchley Road. A block wall has been removed and a concrete footing left behind. We are thinking that it will be best to cut into the footing and cement in the new posts, but are open to other suggestions. We would like a 1.8m overlapping timber paling fence with a capping for around 9.5m (west end) and the remaining to be made of around 1.3m overlapping paling with approx 500mm high horizontal slat framed trellis panels on top (so that we can still let some sun through). The east end has a concrete slab on the Brenchley Road side which is going to stay which creates a small height difference between the two properties. A minor amount of formwork looks like it will be required to tidy up the footing here which steps down twice from the slab to the ground. Feel free to visit the site to inspect.
