Clear a mini slip by hand

Our neighbour’s little hill has slipped slightly and dumped some soil against the side of the house. We need to shovel this away. There is a very large flower bed nearby that currently has weedmat and bark on top. If you scrape off the bark and pull back the weedmat, place the soil and debris into the flowerbed then re-cover this should avoid us needing to remove the soil from site.
