Post hole boring
Job description
I need a contractor with an auger to bore 9 holes for 100mm square posts to approx 400mm deep. At approx 150mm there is a soft sandstone. I can dig through it with a heavy trenching spade but its hard on the joints! The photos show the area for the holes (looking back to the baige coloured shed) and the other two show the access which is up a steepish lawn from the road and then flat. It's a boundary fence so needs to be very respectful of the neighbours lawn i.e. small machinery only. I will likely want a further 9 or 12 holes to ~200 deep for a garden shed foundation so want to understand the costs for the base job
