Waterproof and trench around house

the house is partly located on the slope field , the storm water runs down from high ground, the house need partly trenched to lead most of the water away into stream on the backyard. Got quotation from YLP, they did a quality job but far more expensive than I expected, the project details is in the photos. I want someone not only is capable with the job, also could bring down the cost. More details can be discussed after getting touched
