Time to sort of the front yard. There is currently a pile of rubble that’s built up from work about the place over the past couple of years. It’s 99% soil with some pebbles and the odd tree branch. It has plenty of weeds growing out of it now too! The plan is to build a new garden bed and bark an area under where a trampoline will be then lay artificial turf. I’ll do that myself but need the site preparation completed first. Scope of the job is to… 1. Remove the pile of dirt 2. Pull out a couple of very small tree stumps. 3. Scrape 50 to 100mm off the top of the lawn. 4. Dispose of soil. 5. Leave it ready for me to edge out the garden and prep the base for the artificial turf. The total area is roughly 9 x 5.5m with the dirt pile being about 3m x 4m and under 1m high. Was going to do it myself with a shovel and trailer but I figure it’s a job for a digger realistically. Great access to the street, can park truck right next to the job.
