We have resource consent to construct a new double garage on the road frontage of our Petone home. The basic components of the work include: - Helping us complete the plans to a level suitable for building consent (we only have dimensions and architects drawings) and gaining the building consent - Demotion of an existing old concrete single garage. - A modest amount of excavation/retaining for the new garage. - The new garage is concrete block (lower and retained sections) and rusticated weatherboard to tie in with our Villa. It has a mono pitch roof slopping back from the front. It is a ‘small’ double. - It will have a single large sectional door (preferable cedar or the like). We are initially after a realistic “ball park cost estimate” to help us understand if the investment is workable (in terms of adding value to our home without over capitalising). Once we have confirmed that we can make the financials work we would progress to a contract and work plan. We also have additional work for the right person or company. We are experienced renovators, who expect attention to detail, quality workmanship and great communication. We are open to creative thinking and approaches to help us achieve our new project within an affordable budget.
