Job description

Earth-Moving
Auckland

I would like to cut a driveway for access to the rear of our section. Currently, there is a steep gradient from the roadside to the main section level, with concrete stairs and a portion of the path (on our property) that will need to be removed. Cutting this driveway will enable a gradual incline to enable a caravan to be moved to the rear of the property. I would like: - A fairly easy gradient cut approx. 7.5m long x 2.7m wide (could be shorter if the gradient is ok). 7.5m from footpath, towards rear of property. - Material disposal (including soil and concrete). Important to note the concrete stairs and portion of concrete path need removing. - Deliver and spread gravel (suitable for occasional vehicle traffic), including down the side of the house up to the rear fence approx. 7.5m long x 2.7m wide for the new cut + 13.3m long x 2.0m wide Along the flat area that runs beside the container and the side of the house, we will leave the concrete path in place and spread gravel on the grass portion. We may need to skim the top of the grass for the gravel to be level with the path. I do not wish to build a retaining wall as this is for temporary access (a proper driveway will be laid later). You will also need to be careful not to damage the footpath and the edge of the neighbour's driveway. Depending on the price, I may get you to spread some gravel around the back of the property as well. Cheers.

Work was done promptly and to my expectations. We had a bit of extra expense in an additional load of fill for disposal but this was communicated well. Would recommend!
