Paid the price lessons learnt- Ask for at least 5 references and speak to them face to face All communication in writing Never let him out of your sight Never give him an open check If he says he will bring a laser level most likely he will not. had the job completed by another tradesperson at half the price

"I have never in my years of operating come across people like this I have been ripped off and am in the proceeds of taking these people to court. I explained the job and my pricing from the start and did yet another good job. For example got another truck in to help with the excavation as they said there was only 6 loads. I explained there was a lot more than that and you will need another truck which they agreed. Then in front of me lied right to face and said that the truck never turned up and they weren't"
