Tenants have had an issue with dim lights in the kitchen. Have had an electrician assess: “Checked light fittings in kitchen and found only 184.3v at each light. Turned oven on and everything in house went dim Checked switch board Only 198v at main fuse Tech had a call from North Power - He can’t fault as he tested 230v at the board” Together they have concluded that the fault was a rusty switchboard at the house which has been eroded by the salt water.” So looking for a quote to replace the switchboard and if possible install within a new PVC or metal box (inside of the old plywood box). Tenants are away from the 3rd of August until the 12th of September. So I would look to have the work completed during this period.
