Replace electric cooktop
Job description
We have an old hotplate style in bench cooktop & have bought a new ceramic cooktop to replace it, Just need an electrician to swap it over. Doesn't get much easier than that :o) It should be pretty straight forward, I'd do it myself, but it's not my house :o) I figured minimum call out kind of thing. disconnect the cable from existing cooktop, & hardwire it into the back of the new one... I'm 99.9% sure you wont even need to adjust the hole size, but worst case scenario you might need to trim a little of the bench with a jigsaw or the like. I've actually got the cooktop at my place in Johnsonville, but needs to be installed in Northland, if you are passing by and can collect even better! :o) Any chance for a best guess quote through here and if you turn up and it's not as simple as I say, feel free to call and cancel or advise additional costs on the phone at the time to get approval before proceeding, saves you the time and effort to view first and quote.
