Unfortunately this job was a bit of a disappointment. The quoted price was exceeded by an extra 60%, although we were at least advised of this before he went ahead with the work. But the most disappointing thing was the quality of the work. He drilled a hole in a cupboard to feed a cable through but went all the way through and out the other side into the bathroom. He slapped some plaster on it but didn't sand it down and also completely failed to mention it to us. We found out a month later when the tenants showed us. When we approached him about it he agreed to fix it up and repaint the wall that he had damaged, but he never turned up to fix it and hasn't responded to calls or texts. After all that he didn't even use the hole he'd drilled and put the cable somewhere else entirely, so it seems it should never have happened in the first place. Very very disappointing and we're now left with an ugly patch on the wall and in the cupboard which we have to fix, as well as a bill that was $300 more than quoted. Also the fan didn't work the first time he replaced it, but he did eventually replace it with another one. We are still waiting for a manual for the panel he installed as well.
