Non Functioning Heat Pump

I have a heatpump that appears to have no power running to the unit. The switch on the outdoor unit is "on". The light that indicates the unit as on does not turn on from the remote control. I would like for someone to have a look to see if there is power going to the unit and if not remedy the problem so I can then sort out servicing of the unit etc. ready for winter.
