Bathroom extractor fan+heat lamps

Replacing a bathroom ceiling extractor unit - the old unit has blown a wire somewhere and the plastic is moldy/perished so not going to try fixing it. Have a new unit but is its a square shape (they all seem to be now) and the existing hole is oval - it is smaller than the new units required roof cut out, so some cutting required to fit it. Also assume the wall switch point will need swapping to the new one. Reasonably urgent - hard to shower in the dark!
