Bathroom extractor fan - remove and replace

Ceiling extractor fan above shower in bathroom is not working. I've cleaned it and can see fan not moving when switched on. It's also hanging as if to fall from ceiling - goodie! Current fan is circular in shape approximately 34cm diameter. Am unsure whether whole unit including ducting needs replacing (looks intact), or just the extractor fan and motor - as such I have not bought replacement and would take advice from electrician as to what needs to be done
