Local electrician for removal of electricity to big old shower

We want to replace our current shower. We arranged builder/plumber but have been told that because the shower has power/electricity wired to it we first need an electrician to come in and disconnect and get rid of all the electrical stuff to make it safe for dismantling. We have no idea where the power is wired to etc so electrician will have to come and look. I have added photos of the shower itself and the top of the shower and the control panel. We also will have another 1 or 2 minor bathroom electric jobs we want to get quoted for eg. Removal of fixed heated towel rail.
