Wiring new lights and power outlets for bedroom renovation

I'm after an electrician to do some wiring for a bedroom renovation; I'm removing a centre button and adding a couple of dimmable downlights instead, plus adding a couple more downlights in a walk in robe behind a partition wall. It's also a good opportunity to add a few more power outlets. I'm keen to understand how you charge - happy to pay hourly rate etc... if you give me a reasonable deal on parts.
