Hoping to install a timer on our hot water cylinder. Please note that we are on a smart meter and the power company can switch to controlled power from time to time, so the timer might have to draw power from elsewhere. I do not wish to reset it daily! The reasoning for a timer is that I will be able to take advantage of cheaper electricity rates at night to heat up the water.
