Light of extractor unit in bathroom trips fuse switch

We have one of those extractor fan/heating lamps and light unit in the bathroom and as of last night when turning the light or the heating lamps on in it trips a fuse switch and it trips the main switch too. Can’t use light in bathroom atm. We have been considering replacing with a new extractor fan so depending on what the issue is we might consider a replacement.
