Replace fusebox, add power point, rewire exterior lights
Job description
1. Replace old fusey fuse/meter box with one that has MCBs and RCDs or equivalent on everything and space for future additions such as electric car charging, AFDDs or whatever is expected to become popular. Explain your choice and get my OK. 2. Remove the little window in the wall behind the existing fuse box if you're allowed to. Otherwise, give me some time after removing the fuse box to do it myself. I can supply some matching weatherboard if needed. 3. Add a power point to the middle of the back wall of the back bedroom. Same height and model as the existing one (PDL692). On its own dedicated circuit breaker. 4. Rewire 3x 2-wire exterior lights with 3-wire cables so I can upgrade them to modern aluminium ones separately. 5. Remove junction box on the outside of the soffit or move it to somewhere hidden. It seems to be used for the exterior lights. 6. Safetyize a one-ended bare wire in the roof space. Might be earth wire from in-ceiling heater. Not sure. No specific timeframe.

Efe replaced my switchboard and did a great job of it. Much sooner than expected and he quickly addressed a serious unexpected problem with the old wiring. He also saved me money by explaining that some of the work I'd asked for wasn't necessary. The power outlet he installed was tidy and well aligned without leaving any damage to the wall. All round perfect.
