Electrical Work - Install Lights, Change Switches and Plates
Job description
We are looking for an electrician to do various work around our house. The house has large roof cavity which can be stood up in, plenty of room to work. We will provide light fittings. No immediate time frame, before Christmas would be good. LIGHTS - Spare & Office: Remove central surface fitting, install x2 downlights - Laundry: Remove surface mounted fitting, install x1 downlight. Ensuite: Remove surface mounted fitting, install x1 new surface mounted fitting. Bathroom: Remove surface mounted fitting, install x1 new surface mounted fitting. Install x2 dot lights with dimmer. - Master: Remove central surface fitting, install x4 downlights - Lounge: Install x1 new pendant (an existing rose has been left mounted to a beam, we are unsure if it still works, it may have just been capped). SWITCHES - General: Remove x3 non-working switches - Lounge: Currently 4 lights are on 4 switches > we want 4 lights on 2 switches. Note there are x2 plates which control the lounge lighting, we want both changed. - Hallway: Currently 4 lights are on 2 switches > we want 4 lights on 1 switch. Note there are x4 plates which control the hall lighting, we want all of them changed. - Entry: Currently 4 lights are on 2 switches> we want 4 lights on 1 switch. Note there are x2 plates which control the entry lighting, we want both changed. COVER PLATES - As a rough summary (to be confirmed on site), provide and swap out the following existing cover plates to new white PDL 600 series (photo of what we are trying to match is attached): - x4 single switches (vertical plate) - x12 double switches (vertical plate) - x3 triple switch (vertical plate) - x1 quad switches (vertical plate) - x10 single outlet (horizontal plate) - x12 double outlet (horizontal plate) - x4 individual switches throughout to have light indicators I have attached photos of the general downlights and the larger surface mounted ones for the bathrooms. We have ideas for dot lights and pendant, but just need to work through them over this next week.
