Rangehood Instalation

I need somebody to install a new range hood over my stove top and remove the existing unit. I don't believe the current unit is even vented, so external or roof vent would need to be done, I have no idea what is preferable or best suited to my situation. The current stove top is approximately 500mmw x 480mm L I would like to purchase the range hood via mitre 10 as i have vouchers to be used up and would like to purchase with the installer if that is OK. So i will need some ideas on what would best suit for the job.
