Replacing the Simmerstat on the Cooktop

Hi there, We have a kitchen cooktop coil that overheats. I believe that the simmerstat needs changing. I have already purchased the simmerstat - just need an electrician to install it for me. Given that it is a small job - might suit someone living in Lower Hutt. Please could you advise how much you would charge for this and when at the earliest can you do this? Thanks... NJ
