Replacement of sensor

I have an Aquarian heat pump hot water cylinder. It would appear a sensor needs replacing so I have no hot water. The cylinder is strapped to the house by metal straps which will need undoing before taking the front off the cylinder. I have instructions from the supplier as well as the owner's manual to show how to get the front off. The sensor is even now on its way from the north - I hope!
