stove elements acting the goat

hi my stove top elements are acting the goat. only one seems to be functioning correctly, the others are either not going or boil when they are meant to simmer. i need that fixed and while your here i may get a light switch changed from a double switch to a triple to accommodate the switch on opposite side of the wall thats actually in an awkward place to use it.
